Games Day Canada 08 Ticket Info
Sorry for the delay (we’re a few hours late on the news, big whoop, wanna fight about it!?) but Games Workshop Canada has updated the Games Day page today with information on getting tickets to THE hobby event of the year. Tickets will be available starting January 14th and can be bought at either your local GW or from Direct Services, but heres a nice little bonus for the early birds:
“SPECIAL PROMOTION FOR FIRST 300 TICKETS
Anyone purchasing one of the first 300 Games Day Tickets will be eligible to pre register for the most popular events at Games Day: Mad Grox, Ascension to Power and the Conversion Corner. All of these events are extremely popular and fill up minutes after opening. By purchasing your ticket early you can avoid the madness and ensure your place in these fantastic events.
Simply contact Direct Services at 1 888 498 7655 after purchasing your ticket to choose the sessions you wish to attend.”
I can assure you that those events are always packed right away and you do want to get their early before all the good stuff is taken (damn those kids taking all those bitz!) since last year we we’re late to the party and all that was left was table scraps. If you don’t care about those events since you can always join in no problem later on and the fact that tickets never sell out since they sell them right at Games Day, you’ll be fine.
We highly suggest you goto Games Day regardless, its a fantastic event that you’ll love. Games Day Toronto has been dated for June 21st, so you’ll be sure to know that the MWU crew will be there.

its usually more of the same, they will hold the yearly special event or so that differs from the others years.
