Professionally Painted Miniatures: We will discuss and debate what place, if any, professionally painted miniatures and armies have in the hobby. From pre painted miniatures games like AT-43 and Star Wars Miniatures to professional painting services and Ebay purchased armies, we will cover all aspects of this fascinating issue.

Pre-Painted Miniatures Games: Here we will focus on the various pre painted miniatures games themselves. How do they compare with the classic style miniatures games like Warhammer, 40k and Warmachine. Are they a way to get new people into our hobby or are they a distraction that only appeals to the lowest common denominator. We will have a lively discussion with supporters and detractors of this style of gaming.

Why do you Love your Favorite Game: All the hosts will discuss what their favorite miniatures wargame is and why. We will not try to decide which is better but only to determine what it is that makes each game stand out for each of our hosts.

  1. Thanks guys! Just an fyi for anyone who downloaded the podcast prior to 10am this morning the id3 tags were messed up and it will show up in your player under artist, Ramstien, Track - Mien Herz Brent

thats the intro song and audible just refused to listen to me when i told it to change the tags.

could not possibly be my fault, no had to be the software deamons.

Anyway, thanks to the keen eyes of Russ Wakelin it is now fixed so anyone who downloads from now on should be golden!

  2. it was good … i 3njoyed it

  3. I certainly enjoyed the cornucopia of topics you did discuss on the program. Your skills as a moderator to keep the program flowing and making sure everyone got thier say are truly impressive. However if there was anything wrong with a panel type program it would be that thier seemed to be little diversity of opinion amongst the panel. The key strength of a panel is of course this diversity and even the more controversial topic of comps scores you all seemed to be on the same page. it is of course how to think up how you would get around this since you already have the cream of the crop (Or is it just the entire crop?) of the wargaming podcasters and I am not sure who you would put in thier place. If you intend on changing the panel from episode to episode then this problem could be easily mitigated.

Still given this is the only major issue I had with your inaugural show and it is more my view of what the function of the panel should be than anything else, I would have to say the is a rather smashing success.

  4. Is the TWIW podcast going to be made available via iTunes? If I just download it and import it into iTunes it isn’t tagged as a podcast, which stuffs up my ’smart playlists’…
and setting the genre to Podcast doesn’t help.
