Games Day Toronto 2008 - Exclusive MWU Video Coverage!

*Teaser Video*
Today I have happy to finally release our secret project that we’ve been planning and working on for sometime. Games Day is a big event for all wargamers, but the problem is, not everyone can attend Games Day for various reasons. One thing we have noticed over the years is the fact with all these wargaming fan sites, no one has bothered to do video coverage of Games Day with the exception of some random joe catching a few clips on his camera. We decided to take the first inititive and create a full Games Day movie that pretty much covers the event.
Now this is the first time anyone has done anything like this, so it didnt go as smooth as we planned but regardless we think we did a decent job. We really had no idea what we we’re getting into when filming the event but now that we look at it in retrospect there are many things we would of done differently or added, but again, this is a first attempt, we always have next years (which we plan to do much bigger and better now we have an idea). The video is roughly 1 hour long and 805mb, but it contains some segments you can pass if not interested (full WAR coverage, costume contest, and the final Golden Demon Awards at the end).
Let me get this out first and formost, we’re not professional video hosts, so we we’re a tad rough and a bit nervous but looking back we know how to improve for next time. We hope you guys enjoy this movie we put together, it gives you an idea of Games Day but really, attending the actual event is something that should not be overlooked.

Guys, gotta hand it to you, did a fantastic job! Loved everybit of it, especially the WAR segment. The wife and I couldnt go this year so seeing this made things a tad better.
I really give kudos to you guys, a great first attempt and Im sure next years will blow this one away.
WOW guys, great job, love the video……make more….PLEASE!
I know we have a certain segment of filming that isn’t in that…soooo we might do something with it
Guys, brilliant job! You guys really need to get on doing more of these. Nice editing job too
Good job guys, really enjoyed the movie.
Next year, do a red and blue overlay on the video so that way I can use my 3d glasses so its like IM ACTUALLY THERE O_O
If only it worked like that Ted
