The Miniatures Wargaming Union

While everyone is frantically running out to grab their copy (no worries, we ran frantically this morning). We have our copies of 5th edition already and we’re hitting the books. Quick first impressions, the layout is very nice, full of great art, fluff (more so than 4th), rules layout is consistent and seems to explain it more in depth. The revamped quick reference is a very warm welcome and about time they added army lists like they have been doing in Warhammer for quite a while now.

We’re studying the new book hard and we will have our full review on episode 47 of The Drop Pod Cast as we’re dedicating the episode everything 5th edition, the episode will be out this coming week. We still got a few days to go so we’ll be constantly reading and have a few games up shortly. If you haven’t ran out yet and grabbed your copy, do so now.
